Zapier Central is a beta product. It’s available for use, but still in active development and may change.
A template of your Zapier Central assistant can be shared with anyone through a public link. When you share an assistant's template, anyone who visits the link can create a new assistant with the same behaviors, connected actions and data sources. Connected data sources availability depends on the person's permissions to the file.
Create a template link
- From any screen of your Central assistant, click Share. A dialog box will open.
- Click Generate link.
- A new link will be created for your assistant. Click Copy link to copy it to your clipboard.
Data sources you add to the assistant will only be available to users who already have access to that file.
Using a template link
When someone clicks on an assistant's template link, they'll be able to review all the settings of the assistant. They can also make changes to the assistant, before adding it to their account.
To create a new assistant from a template:
- Visit the template link.
- Click Use this template.
- Connect your own app accounts required to use the actions by clicking Connect beside each app name. You'll be asked to sign in to your account for that app.
- Once all accounts are connected, click Continue.
- In the next screen you can make changes to the assistant's instructions, description and add more actions.
- When you're done, click Create assistant.
The assistant is now ready to use.
If your app account does not have access to an included data source, you'll see an error, alerting you that the data source is not available.
Delete a template link
- From any screen of your Central assistant, click Share. A dialog box will open.
- Click Delete link.
- The dialog box will ask you to confirm the action. Click Delete link to confirm.
