Constant Contact: new features and bug fixes

New features: 

  • New Unsubscriber trigger: A new trigger for detecting new unsubscribers has been added, enhancing user management capabilities.
  • Remove Contact From List action: Users can now directly remove a contact from a specific list, streamlining list management.
  • Add Contact to List action: Adding contacts to lists is now simpler and more intuitive, improving workflow efficiency.

Bug fixes:

  • The Update Contact action no longer returns a "Cannot read property 'forEach' of undefined" error when the optional input field “List” is empty, ensuring smoother operation under various conditions.
  • The Update Contact action also no longer returns an "Error: tag_ids is not iterable" error when the optional input field “Tags” is empty, enhancing functionality and reliability.

 

Dropbox: new features and enhancements

  • New trigger:
    • New or Updated File: Expanding beyond the original New File trigger, users can now automate actions for both newly created and updated files, enhancing workflow automation.
  • Enhancements:
    • New File in Folder and New Folder triggers: These triggers now include options to activate on subfolder activities, not limited to the parent folder, allowing for deeper directory integration.
    • Find File and Find Folder search actions: Enhancements include the ability to search within subfolders, improving file and folder discoverability across more complex folder structures.
  • Updated file support:
    • Dropbox now supports files up to 500MB, a significant increase from the previous 100MB limit, accommodating larger files and broadening usage scenarios for users.

Eventbrite: new enhancements

  • New Order trigger: Now includes additional output fields for Payment type, Marketing Opt-In info, and Organization Details, providing more comprehensive data for event management.
  • New Attendee Registered trigger: Enhanced with new output fields such as Settings for Ticket Buyer, Contact List Options (Marketing Opt-In), Event Format, Event Organizer Details, and Event Checkout Preferences, offering deeper insights and customization options for event organizers.

 

Intercom: new trigger and enhanced actions

  • New trigger:
    • Updated Contact: Users can now trigger workflows when contact information is updated, ensuring data across systems remains synchronized.
  • Enhanced Actions:
    • Send Incoming Message: This action has been expanded to work with any type of contact (lead, user, visitor), and now supports searching by both email address or Contact ID. Additionally, it includes validation to check for non-existent or duplicate contacts, enhancing reliability and usability.
    • Improved triggers with real data: The triggers for New Conversation and Tag Added to Conversation have been updated to include real sample data, providing more accurate and useful examples for setting up automation.

Marketo: new triggers and enhanced search functionality

  • New triggers:
    • Updated Lead: Automate workflows whenever lead details are updated, ensuring real-time data accuracy and responsiveness.
    • New Form Submission: Trigger actions when a new form is submitted, enhancing lead capture and follow-up processes.
  • Enhanced search capability:
    • Find Lead Search: The search function now allows for the retrieval of additional fields beyond just the lead’s name and email address, enabling more comprehensive data access for targeted marketing efforts.

Pardot: new trigger, enhanced account support, and bug fixes

  • New trigger:
    • New or Updated Prospect: Expanding beyond just new prospects, this trigger now also activates for updates to existing prospects, enhancing data management and engagement strategies.
  • Enhancements:
    • Support for Pardot “sandbox” accounts: In addition to the existing production and demo options, users can now connect to Pardot sandbox accounts, facilitating testing and development without affecting live data.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Authentication test adjustment: The authentication test now correctly utilizes a Pardot endpoint instead of a Salesforce endpoint, correcting the previous issue that could falsely indicate a successful connection.
    • Create Prospect action update: Fixed an issue with the Create Prospect action by removing the option to select Pardot’s v5 API, which is not supported. The app continues to support only v3 and v4.

Schedule by Zapier: new customizable triggers and enhanced scheduling options

  • New trigger setting:
    • Custom Frequency: Users can now set their own intervals for triggers, including days, weeks, or months. This allows for specific scheduling such as "Every Other Week" or "Once Per Quarter" without needing additional tools like Filters or Google Calendar.
  • Enhanced trigger options:
    • Time offsets: For all triggers, users now have the option to pick specific times with new :15, :30, and :45 minute offsets, or even set a custom time, offering unparalleled precision in scheduling.
    • Multiple-day selection: Triggers like "Every Week" and "Every Month" now allow for the selection of multiple days within the same period, e.g., every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or on the 1st and 7th of every month.
  • New output field:
    • Next Occurrence: All triggers now include a “Next Occurrence” output field, which provides confirmation of when the Zap is scheduled to trigger next, aiding in better planning and transparency.

Shopify: bug fixes

  • Find or Create Customer action: The action now returns the same output fields regardless of whether a customer is found or created, ensuring consistency in data handling and outputs.
  • Create Order action: Fixed an issue where entering a value of 0 for the Shipping Price input field incorrectly sent a NULL value. This change ensures accurate data transmission and order processing.

Square: new search and enhanced trigger

  • New search:
    • Find Customer by ID: Users can now efficiently locate customer information using the customer ID, streamlining operations and enhancing customer service.
  • Enhanced trigger:
    • New Appointment trigger: The trigger for new appointments now includes customer data, providing more comprehensive information for each booking, facilitating better preparation and personalization of services.

WordPress: new search capabilities, enhanced post and user actions, and important bug fixes

  • New Search:
    • Find User and Find or Create User: Enhances user management by allowing searches for users by specific criteria and, if necessary, creating new user accounts seamlessly.
  • Enhanced actions:
    • Create Post and Update Post: Now support custom post types, expanding the flexibility and applicability of content management within WordPress.
    • Create User: This action has been upgraded to support custom roles, allowing for more tailored user access and control beyond the default roles provided by WordPress.
  • Enhanced Trigger:
    • New Post: This trigger now includes direct links to image/media files associated with posts, streamlining content management and processes.
  • Bug fixes:
    • Optimized Post triggers: The New Post and Updated Post triggers have been updated to request less data, addressing issues with response payload sizes exceeding limits and improving overall performance.
    • Updated WordPress Plugin: The plugin now uses an updated version of the Firebase/JWT library, resolving compatibility problems with other plugins and enhancing stability and security.

Xero: New features and enhanced invoice creation

  • New features:
    • New Purchase Order trigger: Users can now automate workflows triggered by the creation of new purchase orders, enhancing order management and financial tracking.
    • Create Project action: This new action allows users to initiate projects directly within Xero, facilitating project tracking and financial management from inception.
  • Enhanced made to the Create Sales Invoice action:
    • Discount options: Now supports a "Discount Amount" input field, providing more flexibility in how discounts are applied, alongside the existing "Discount %" field.
    • Expanded contact details: The action now includes additional Contact input fields such as Contact Address, Contact Phone, Contact Bank Account, Contact Tax Number, and Contact Number fields, enabling more comprehensive data capture during invoice creation.
    • Invoice URL: For invoices not in "draft" status, the action now includes the invoice’s URL, providing immediate access to the finalized invoice for quicker review and distribution.

Zoom: new triggers and enhanced meeting insights

  • New triggers:
    • New Participant Joined Webinar or Meeting: Automate actions or gather analytics whenever a new participant joins a webinar or meeting, enhancing engagement tracking.
    • New Audio Transcript: Trigger actions when a new audio transcript is available, facilitating content accessibility and documentation.
  • Enhanced meeting details:
    • New Meeting trigger: Now includes additional output fields, providing richer data about meetings such as participant details, meeting duration, and other relevant metadata, improving meeting analytics and follow-up actions.
