Important changes for form uploads impacting Zapier Interfaces users

On June 12, 2024, Zapier Interfaces will migrate files uploaded through Zapier Interfaces forms to a new hosting domain. This will affect existing files and you may need to take action.

What is changing?

There are two changes happening, for files uploaded through forms:

  • All existing files uploaded through a form will be moved to a new domain. The previous domain, https://ucarecdn.com, will change to https://interfaces-cdn.zapier.com.
  • Files uploaded through a Form component that was removed from an interface before February 2024 will be permanently deleted on June 12, 2024.

Why is this happening?

Moving to a new system allows Zapier to offer consistency for your file storage needs and support future improvements for Interfaces.

What do I need to do?

If you embedded or referenced any files from an Interfaces form upload, you need to update the URLs to the new domain.

Only the domain portion (https://ucarecdn.com) needs to be updated. The rest of the file address remains the same. For example, if your file currently is located at https://ucarecdn.com/123, you should replace it with https://interfaces-cdn.zapier.com/123

How can I update the files I reference on my interface?

If you have linked to any files on your interface, you can edit the component to replace the domain part of the URL.

What happens if I don’t update the URLs?

Any file URL using https://ucarecdn.com will stop working after June 12, 2024.
