How to get started with Retriever on Zapier

Connect to Retriever on Zapier

Retriever uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

Required authentication fields

  • API Key

Additional authentication instructions

  1. Log into your Retriever Enterprise account.
  2. Click API from the left side menu
  3. Click the toggle to enable Status.
  4. Under Key Management, click Show to display your API key.
  5. Copy the API key to your clipboard.

About Retriever's app

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only  
Is a paid Retriever plan required? No  
Are any special account permissions required? Yes
  • Only Retriever Enterprise accounts can utilize our integration.
  • Only admins can create an API key.
Are there usage limits? Yes
  • API read requests (fetching device return order information) are limited to 60 per minute and 500 per day.
  • Write requests (submitting device return orders) are limited to 600 per minute and 5000 per day.

Are there pagination limits? No  
Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Real trigger samples  
Are custom fields supported? No  
Do update actions overwrite or append to existing data? Not applicable
