Chatbase and Zapier connect to automate your chatbot workflows. You can trigger actions when forms are submitted and send prompts to your AI chatbot.
Prerequisites
To use the Chatbase app on Zapier, you must have:
- A Chatbase account with a paid plan.
- At least one AI agent created and configured in your Chatbase account.
- Lead collection enabled in your Chatbase agent if you plan to use form submission triggers (configured in Settings > Leads for your agent).
Connect Chatbase to Zapier
To create an app connection to Chatbase on Zapier:
- Go to the Apps page.
- Click + Add connection.
- A new dialog box will appear. Search for and select Chatbase.
- Click Add connection.
- A Connect an Account page will open in a browser tab or window.
- Complete the following fields:
- API Key: Enter your API Key. Learn where to find your Chatbase API key.
- Display name: Enter your preferred display name for this connection.
- Click Yes, Continue to Chatbase.
Your Chatbase account is now successfully connected to Zapier.

Limitations
- Training data size limitations: Free plan limited to 400 KB per agent, Hobby to 20 MB, Standard to 40 MB, and Pro to 60 MB.
- Rate limits can be configured per device, potentially restricting Zapier automation frequency.
