Connect to Caplena on Zapier

Caplena uses OAuth to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  • Log into Caplena to authenticate.
  • Grant Zapier permission to access your account if prompted to.

Is a paid Caplena plan required? Yes
  • All Caplena plans are eligible to use the Zapier integration. Users can also test the features during free trial.

Are any special account permissions required? Yes
  • Caplena's Zapier triggers and actions vary according to project permissions. If you only have read access to a project you may not use any actions that create new objects.

Are there usage limits? Yes
  • When creating new Projects or Rows in your Caplena account, account credits will be deducted. If your Zap uploads more rows than you have credits available, the action will fail.

Are there pagination limits? Yes
  • Responses will list 10 objects per page by default. You can request up to 50 objects per page.

Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Generic trigger samples  
Are custom fields supported? Yes
  • Caplena's Project Columns will appear as custom fields in Zaps.
Do update actions overwrite or append to existing data? Append to existing data
  • Caplena only allows appending or creating new data.
