How to get started with Dataclay QUE on Zapier

 

Connect to Dataclay QUE on Zapier

Dataclay QUE uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

Required authentication fields

  • QUE API Key
  • Connection Nickname
  • API URL

Additional authentication instructions

  1. Log into your Dataclay QUE account.
  2. Click your avatar dropdown menu and select Account.
  3. To copy your QUE API key to your clipboard, click the copy icon next to the API Key field.

If there is an issue with copying the key, you can reload the page or click the re-generate button to get a new QUE API key.

About Dataclay QUE's app

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only Dataclay supports QUE accounts that are deployed as dedicated instances on Dataclay's infrastructure as well as deployed within a customer's own cloud infrastructure. In order to work with Zapier, custom deployments need to be publicly accessible. 
Is a paid Dataclay QUE plan required? Yes

You'll need to be on a paid QUE plan to use Zapier integration support.

Are any special account permissions required? Yes

Billing Managers do not have access to the Dataclay QUE API. All other Owner and Admin accounts can access QUE's data.

Are there usage limits? No  
Are there pagination limits? Yes

At the moment, only the "Filter Jobs" actions returns paginated data based on user input. We recommend returning a reasonable value of 100 or fewer. The "New Job" and "Updated Job" triggers always return a maximum of 50 values per page.

Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Real trigger samples  
Are custom fields supported? Yes

All data values for Dataclay QUE's Jobs are stored in key:value pairs within each Job object, and are available to use in Zap steps. Autografs, Campaigns, and Satellites do not have custom values.
