How to get started with AroFlo HMAC on Zapier

 

Connect to AroFlo HMAC on Zapier

AroFlo HMAC uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

Required authentication fields

  • uEncoded
  • pEncoded
  • API Secret Key
  • orgEncoded.

Additional authentication instructions

To access the AroFlo API, go to Site Administration > Settings > General > AroFlo API. If you don't already have access to AroFlo's API, please send a support request stating that you would like API access.

About AroFlo HMAC's app

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only  
Is a paid AroFlo HMAC plan required? Yes View AroFlo HMAC’s plans.
Are any special account permissions required? Yes Site Administrator access is required to access API Credentials. Credentials are NOT user-specific and are instead for your entire AroFlo site.

Are there usage limits? Yes

Size Limit

When retrieving data from our API, we have a set 3.5Mb limit on data being returned per request.

 

Timeout Limit

If your query runs for more than 60 secs AroFlo will timeout the process and return the following error:

888888 IMSAPI request has timed out - please refine your query

 

Rate Limit

You can call our API a total of 120 times per minute. Exceeding this will result in an error code. There is also a 3 requests per second limit, to ensure that we do not get flooded by API requests, similar to Denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.

 

Daily Limit

There is a daily limit of 2000 API calls. Count is reset every day at 00:00 AEDT (Australia/Melbourne).

 

Secondary Daily Limit

There is also a Secondary Daily Limit for queries for single zone ID. Count is reset every day at 00:00 AEDT (Australia/Melbourne).

Currently, AroFlo returns 500 items.

Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Generic trigger samples  
Are custom fields supported? Yes Certain actions will allow you to update Custom Fields by having a specific area.
Do update actions overwrite or append to existing data? Overwrite existing data All update actions will overwrite existing data in AroFlo with that provided by the Zap.
