Connect to Zahara on Zapier

Zahara uses API keys to authenticate your account on Zapier.

  1. Log into your Zahara account.
  2. Select Business from the top menu.
  3. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select Integrations from the left-hand menu.
  5. Find the API Key section.
  6. Copy the API key to your clipboard.

Are self-hosted or cloud-hosted accounts supported? Cloud-hosted accounts only  
Is a paid Zahara plan required? No
Are any special account permissions required? Yes
  • A Zahara user must have "Business Settings" - "Create/Update/Delete/View" permissions to be able to retrieve their Business unit API Key. Users without this permission will not be able to see the Business > Settings option.

Are there usage limits? Yes
  • A rate limit of 50 objects every 60 seconds is applied. A Zahara user will not be presented with an error code/message if they violate this, however, all records above this rate will be excluded.

Are there pagination limits? No  
Do trigger samples use real data from your account or generic data? Real trigger samples
  • Users can load real data from their Zahara accounts, provided that the data is already available.
  • For a new trial user with a fresh account, this data may not be available.

Are custom fields supported? Yes
Do update actions overwrite or append to existing data? Overwrite existing data
  • Zahara offers update actions for Suppliers if an account reference is provided and matches a Zahara existing supplier. This only includes the options that are specifically mapped in the action. Without a matching account reference, it will create a new supplier.
